At 9:46 AM, Frimlin posted this: Just a quick note to explain why the photo section has disappeared. Well, by some uncanny coincidence both my father and I were wondering the same thing about it. That perhaps the photo gallery's current state may be putting off some of those checking my site after I've applied for a job with them. Now you know it took me ages to get around to getting photos like that taken -- that it isn't something I would do normally, and you also know how pleased I was with them -- and why I wanted people to see them. You also know I've been unsure about putting too much of me online, as it were. And so okay maybe I've had my fun now. They will be back, just not so in your face. People should only see them if they're really interested, not just because they quickly clicked on my photo section. I'd much rather have photos of family, friends and locations in there. So yes, I'm backing down, yet again, on an issue of privacy & the public eye -- the continuing unease that grows between private Ash and public Frimlin. Let's just hope I stop here, and don't end up editing everything away in fear that it might disturb another, heaven forbid. At 3:31 PM, Frimlin posted this: Hello! Just a quick note -- kinda been forced into it because people are starting to wonder what's happening with me right now... sorry! All is okay in one sense, and I'm remaining optimistic about things -- a numb kind of positivity that seems to be the only thing keeping me sane right now. But alas no, I still haven't got a new job -- despite applying to quite a few. So please keep your digits crossed for me. And.. if you hear of a job you know I could do, please let me know. Anyhow, that's enough for the moment. Just so as you know I'm not dead and all. Nope, quite alive, quite functional, just bereft of anything all that interesting to mention here on my blog. All this, and the UK has just joined the US and others in an attack on Iraq. Everything seems a bit odd at the moment, and I am sure it would do even if I was employed. Despite my views on the war wavering from moment to moment, one thing is clear -- I remain concerned for the safety of all involved, and I hope that casualties will be exceedingly minimal.
